The nomination process is open to those who have worked directly with the nominated FAU Libraries employee. Self-nominations are accepted for this award. The Staff Achievements Subcommittee will review all nominations. One individual will be chosen for this award annually.
Note: The primary purpose of this award is to encourage FAU Libraries staff to pursue opportunities for professional growth and continuing education. The absence of an allotment of time for continuing education in a candidate's job description should not keep such candidates from pursuing those opportunities, or from having an equal chance to receive this award. Every effort will be made to make this a fair process. Additionally, SEFLIN and ElementK courses are available to all library staff and are not limited to those with faculty status.
Please see the FAU Libraries Awards Policy page for information regarding how the recipient will be recognized and awarded for this achievement.
Please provide a summary describing the nominee's achievements in as much detail as possible (the more information you provide, the better the committee is able to make a decision). Explain how the nominee fits the selection guidelines above.
Due to the nature of this particular award, self-nominations are both accepted and encouraged.
