ORIENTATION PROGRAM FOR NEW LIBRARY EMPLOYEES

The Orientation Subcommittee of the Libraries' Staff & Organizational Development Committee (SODC) provides  orientations for new librarians and regular AMP and SP library staff members.

These orientations normally are held at the end of a semester, frequently during finals week, and help new staff to become familiar with the FAU Libraries and its various departments. Each orientation includes a “welcome” session in the staff lounge, hosted by current members of the Orientation Subcommittee, a walking tour of the Wimberly Library, and a campus tour, which is optional but highly encouraged.
